We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Veterinary Receptionist to join our team, with previous receptionist experience in the animal industry. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for pet owners, providing exceptional customer service while managing the front desk operations of our veterinary clinic. Your passion for animals and strong communication skills will help create a welcoming environment for both pets and their owners. Must be experienced in the veterinary field to apply.
Responsibilities:
Greet clients and their pets upon arrival, ensuring a friendly and professional atmosphere.
Schedule appointments and manage the clinic's calendar efficiently.
Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries regarding services, procedures, and pet care.
Maintain accurate patient records, including medical histories and treatment plans.
Process payments and manage medical collections as needed.
Provide information to clients about pet care, veterinary terminology, and clinic services.
Keep the reception area organized and stocked with necessary supplies.
Handle any client concerns or complaints with empathy and professionalism.
Experience: The ideal candidate will possess the following skills:
Experience in a veterinary setting or similar environment is preferred.
Familiarity with kennel operations and animal handling techniques is a plus.
Ability to perform animal restraint safely when required during visits.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing records.
Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with clients and staff alike.
A genuine love for animals and commitment to providing high-quality pet care.
