We are seeking a dedicated Veterinary Receptionist to join our dynamic team. This vital role involves managing client interactions, coordinating appointments, and supporting the overall smooth operation of our hospital. Duties

• Greet clients warmly and professionally, ensuring a positive first impression for all visitors.
• Schedule appointments efficiently while accommodating urgent cases and client needs.
• Handle medical billing and collections accurately, including processing payments and insurance claims.
• Maintain organized patient records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with privacy standards.
• Assist with administrative tasks such as answering phone calls, responding to inquiries, and managing correspondence.
• Support veterinary staff by coordinating laboratory tests, medication refills, and follow-up appointments.
• Manage kennel operations by overseeing animal care routines, ensuring cleanliness, and monitoring animal well-being.
• Facilitate pet care instructions and provide basic pet grooming or handling guidance when needed.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in veterinary reception or a similar customer service role within an animal healthcare setting.
• Knowledge of veterinary terminology, animal handling techniques, and pet care procedures.
• Familiarity with medical collections processes and laboratory procedures related to veterinary medicine.
• Experience with animal husbandry, kennel management, and dog handling skills.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in record keeping and appointment scheduling.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism and compassion.
