Norwalk Animal Hospital is an independently owned four doctor practice where old-fashioned caring is delivered with all the latest technology. We are a full service hospital providing preventative medicine and wellness care to cats and dogs.
We are seeking a dedicated and personable Veterinary Receptionist to serve as the first point of contact for clients and their pets at our hospital. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of veterinary terminology, and a passion for animal care. In this role, you will manage client interactions, handle administrative duties, and support the veterinary team to ensure smooth clinic operations. Your enthusiasm and professionalism will contribute to creating a welcoming environment for pet owners and their animals.

Requirements:
Prior experience in a veterinary, medical, or customer-facing receptionist role preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with clients and team members
Proficiency with scheduling software, preferably veterinary management systems
Ability to multitask and remain calm in a busy, sometimes emotionally sensitive environment
High school diploma or equivalent required
Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
