Responsibilities:

• Greet clients and their pets with a friendly, professional demeanor upon arrival
• Schedule and confirm appointments using veterinary practice management software
• Answer multi-line phone systems, respond to inquiries, and relay messages to veterinary staff
• Process client payments, invoices, and insurance claims accurately
• Maintain and update patient medical records and client information
• Communicate discharge instructions and follow-up care information to pet owners
• Manage waiting room flow and ensure a calm, clean front desk environment

Requirements:

• Prior experience in a veterinary, medical, or customer-facing receptionist role required
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a compassionate, client-focused attitude
• Ability to multitask and stay organized in a busy, high-energy clinic setting
• Proficiency with scheduling software, email, and basic computer applications
• Comfort handling sensitive situations, including end-of-life care conversations, with empathy
• Reliable, punctual, and a true team player with a positive attitude
• Genuine love for animals and dedication to their health and well-being
