About the Role:
West Valley Pet Clinic in Woodland Hills, CA is looking for a friendly and passionate Veterinary Receptionist to be the welcoming face of our clinic! In this role, you'll play a vital part in creating a positive experience for pets and their owners from the moment they walk through our doors. Responsibilities:

• Greet clients and their pets warmly, ensuring a positive and stress-free check-in experience
• Schedule and confirm appointments, managing a busy multi-line phone system
• Accurately enter and maintain client and patient records in veterinary practice management software
• Process payments, invoices, and insurance claims at the front desk
• Communicate effectively with veterinarians and veterinary technicians to coordinate patient flow
• Respond to client inquiries in person, by phone, and via email regarding services, medications, and follow-up care
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front office and waiting area

Requirements:

• Prior experience as a veterinary receptionist, veterinary assistant, or in a related animal care setting preferred
• Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills
• Comfortable handling and interacting with animals of all sizes and temperaments
• Proficiency with veterinary software (e.g., Avimark, Cornerstone, or similar) is a plus
• Ability to multitask and stay organized in a high-volume clinic environment
• Compassionate, professional, and team-oriented demeanor
• High school diploma or equivalent required
