Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform comparative hematology, clinical chemistry testing, blood bank, urinalysis and coagulation testing as well as assist in the development of new diagnostic tests applicable to animal species.
- Actively participate in sample analysis along with other technicians.
- Ensure even distribution and coordination of work in the laboratory
- Ensure analysis conducted for investigators follows the guidelines set forth by the Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) Act
- Coordinate research services for biomedical investigations
- Communicate with clinical pathologists, clinicians, professional students and biomedical investigators.
- Train emergency technicians.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
