A veterinary specialty practice is seeking a Veterinary Surgeon to join its collaborative clinical team. Evaluate, diagnose, and manage surgical patients.
Perform a wide range of soft tissue and orthopedic surgical procedures within the scope of practice.
Develop individualized surgical treatment plans and provide post-operative care.
Collaborate with specialists, emergency clinicians, and support staff to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Communicate surgical recommendations, treatment options, and prognoses with clients and referring veterinarians.
Maintain accurate and timely medical records.
Participate in case discussions, continuing education, and quality improvement initiatives.
Uphold the highest standards of surgical care, patient safety, and medical excellence.
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent degree from an accredited institution.
Board certification or board eligibility in Veterinary Surgery.
Active or eligible veterinary license in the state of practice.
Strong clinical judgment, surgical skills, and communication abilities.
