What You'll Do
As a Veterinary Technician Assistant – Cardiology, you will support the cardiology team in delivering efficient, compassionate care through advanced diagnostics, appointments, and follow-up support. In this role, you will:
- Help with diagnostic procedures such as echocardiograms, ECGs, and thoracic radiographs
- Restrain and handle canine and feline patients safely and confidently
- Assist with medication administration, patient monitoring, and outpatient treatments
- Provide patient care responsibilities including husbandry, laundry, walking dogs, and cleaning kennels
- Communicate with clients clearly and compassionately
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in exam rooms and shared areas
- Help stock supplies and assist with department scheduling and patient flow
- Accurately document care and communication in medical records
