Join a Different Kind of ER Team
We are looking for an experienced
Veterinary Technician or Veterinary Assistant to join our growing walk-in emergency veterinary practice.
We provide
high-quality medical care, emergency surgery, and hospitalization in a setting that feels a little more like a great general practice—with the capabilities of an ER. We believe excellent medicine starts with excellent communication, thoughtful patient care, and a team that works together.
What Makes Us Different We are a
technician-centric practice. We value the knowledge, judgment, and skills of our technicians and assistants—and we actually
use them. We want team members who are engaged in patient care, comfortable taking initiative, and interested in continuing to grow their clinical skills.
Comprehensive veterinary care also means caring for the people attached to our patients.
Compassionate communication is a priority for us. The ability to obtain a thorough history, listen to clients, explain what is happening, and make people feel heard is just as important to us as technical ability.

- Assist with emergency procedures, surgery, anesthesia, and patient monitoring
- Obtain thorough patient histories and communicate effectively with clients
- Place and manage IV catheters, administer medications, and monitor treatments
- Perform and assist with diagnostics, including radiographs and laboratory testing
- Monitor hospitalized and critical patients
- Recognize changes in patient condition and communicate concerns appropriately
- Work closely with veterinarians to develop and carry out treatment plans
- Educate clients and provide compassionate discharge instructions
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient treatment area
- Contribute to a positive, collaborative team culture
What We're Looking ForExperience is required. We are looking for someone who is comfortable working in a veterinary hospital and has a solid foundation in patient care.
The ideal candidate is:
- Experienced in veterinary medicine, emergency/urgent care, or a busy GP setting
- Confident with technical skills and patient monitoring
- Able to think critically and recognize when a patient needs additional attention
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- An excellent communicator who genuinely enjoys working with clients
- Compassionate, dependable, and team-oriented
- Willing to learn and continue developing professionally
- Someone who takes pride in providing high-quality medicine and patient care
Schedule & CompensationFull-time and part-time positions available.
- Competitive pay based on experience and skill level
- Benefits available for team members working 30+ hours per week
- Weekend availability is required: Friday and/or Saturday and/or Sunday
- Opportunity to work in a growing practice with expanding services and responsibilities
If you're an experienced veterinary technician or assistant who wants to be
valued for what you know, trusted with your skills, and part of a team that genuinely cares about patients and clients, we'd love to meet you.
Come help us build an ER that delivers excellent medicine without losing the personal, compassionate feel of a great veterinary practice.
