What You’ll Do
- Safely and compassionately handle and restrain patients
- Perform venipuncture and collect diagnostic samples
- Place and maintain IV catheters
- Assist with radiology positioning, techniques, and patient restraint
- Prepare patients and equipment for surgery and assist during procedures
- Monitor anesthesia, including induction, maintenance, and recovery
- Support wellness and preventive care services, including vaccines and testing
- Assist with pharmacy duties, medication handling, and dispensing
- Perform drug calculations and maintain treatment accuracy
- Maintain complete and accurate medical records
- Provide exceptional customer service and client education
- Support daily hospital operations and patient care needs
What Our Veterinary Technicians Bring
