Veterinary Technician

Pet Medical Center of Boca Raton is seeking an experienced Veterinary Technician to join our team!

This is an excellent opportunity for skilled, outgoing technicians who want to fully utilize their abilities and expertise while building meaningful relationships with clients and their pets.

In this role, you will:

• Provide excellent patient care during surgical and dental procedures - including anesthesia monitoring, patient prep and recovery, and dental cleanings and radiographs.
• Ensure efficient exam room workflow and outstanding client communication.
• Review treatment plans, provide discharge instructions, and address client questions with empathy and clarity.
• Collaborate with your team to support the veterinarian’s orders during outpatient visits, ensuring the highest level of patient care.

This position is ideal for detail-oriented technicians who are passionate about exceptional patient and client care, and ready to work at the top of their license in a supportive, team-focused environment.

Schedule: This is a flexible, full-time position, with availability needed Monday–Friday and rotating weekends.

Full-time benefits and compensation**:

• Compensation: $18–23 per hour, depending on experience and credentials*
• Bonus package: $500-2000 depending on experience and licensure
• CE allowance: Up to $1,000 for credentialed technicians in the state of FL

Minimum qualifications and skill set:

• 3+ years of veterinary experience in a clinical setting
• Proficiency in the following skills:
  • Surgical monitoring and intubation
  • Venipuncture and IV catheter placement
  • Dental prophylaxis
  • Radiology
  • Intramuscular and subcutaneous injections
  • Diagnostic radiology
