Highland Park Animal Hospital is seeking a skilled and compassionate Veterinary Technician to join one of Dallas’s most established and prestigious veterinary practices. With over 57 years of service in the Dallas community, we now operate in a state-of-the-art, three-story luxury hospital offering advanced medical care and exceptional client service.
This is an exciting opportunity for a Veterinary Technician who is passionate about high-quality medicine, thrives in a collaborative environment, and is eager to grow within a progressive, full-service hospital.
Here is What Your day May Consist of:
Provide high-quality patient care for dogs and cats
Assist veterinarians with exams, diagnostics, and treatments
Perform IV catheter placement and blood collection
Monitor and assist with anesthesia and surgical procedures
Administer medications (IV, IM, SQ, oral)
Educate clients on vaccines, preventative care, and treatment plans
Support advanced services including radiology, ultrasonography, and lab diagnostics
Maintain accurate medical records

Here is What You Will Bring to the Position:
Previous experience as a Veterinary Technician (LVT/RVT/CVT preferred)
Proficiency in IV catheter placement, venipuncture, and anesthesia monitoring
Strong knowledge of vaccines and preventative care protocols
Excellent communication and client education skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
