Our Veterinary Technicians are valued team members, working alongside General Practitioners and Dermatology Specialty Veterinarians to improve the quality of our patient's lives. Our practice is Dermatology focused, and we also have a general practice unit.

Qualifications and skills:

At least 1 year experience as a Veterinary Technician.

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Team player/plays well with other team members
  • Positive attitude
  • Enhancing reputation of the practice through client interactions and client education
  • Accepting ownership for success /self-motivated
  • Excellent Organizational skills
  • Basic computer knowledge
  • Good technician skills, venipuncture, IV catheter placement, specimen preparation, safe restraint of cats and dogs
  • Experience monitoring sedation/anesthesia
  • Comfortable with laboratory procedures
  • Familiar with or excited to learn the Fear Free approach
  • Ability to work 1-2 Saturdays per month
