Veterinary Technician

Join our Fear Free Certified team at Furever Family Veterinary Care Center as a Veterinary Technician in East Moline, IL. In this role, you will provide essential support to veterinarians by delivering high-quality care to our animal patients and ensuring the smooth operation of our veterinary services.

• Assist veterinarians during examinations, surgeries, and medical procedures
• Perform laboratory tests, collect samples, and analyze results
• Administer medications, vaccinations, and treatments as directed
• Monitor and record patient vital signs and progress
• Maintain clean and organized workspaces, treatment areas, and equipment
• Educate pet owners on preventive care, medication administration, and general animal health
• Handle animal restraint and care with patience and professionalism

• Completion of an accredited Veterinary Technician program or equivalent work experience
• Certification or licensure as a Veterinary Technician (preferred)
• Strong knowledge of veterinary medical terminology and procedures
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
• Compassion for animals and commitment to high standards of animal care
• Physical ability to handle animals and perform duties in a fast-paced environment
