Position Details
- Role: Veterinary Technician
- Status: Full-time
- Salary: Negotiable and based on experience & licensure
- Schedule: Four x 10-hour shifts. One weekend day is required.

PetVet Animal Hospital is seeking a skilled and dedicated Surgery Technician to join our growing, multi-doctor practice. We are a fast-paced, full-service small animal hospital where teamwork, positivity, and high-quality patient care come first. What You’ll Do
- Prepare patients for surgery, including pre-anesthetic protocols and catheter placement
- Monitor anesthesia and patient vitals throughout surgical procedures
- Assist veterinarians during surgery and dental procedures
- Provide post-operative care and ensure smooth recovery for patients
- Maintain sterile technique and ensure surgical suite readiness
- Accurately document treatments and communicate with the care team
Position Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of surgery experience required
- Licensed Veterinary Technician in good standing (preferred)
- Detail-oriented, organized, and calm under pressure
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative team mindset
- Passion for patient care and safety
- Flexibility and dependability, with availability for evenings and weekends
