Position Details

Role: Veterinary Technician
Status: Full-time
Salary: Negotiable and based on experience
Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday: 7:50 a.m.–6:15 p.m. (1-hour lunch break); Thursdays off; every other Saturday: 7:45 a.m.–12:15 p.m.

What Our Technicians Do

• Assist veterinarians with patient examinations, treatments, and procedures
• Safely restrain patients during examinations and medical procedures
• Perform laboratory testing and assist with diagnostic imaging
• Administer medications and vaccines as directed by the veterinarian
• Educate clients on medications, treatment plans, and preventative care
• Maintain accurate medical records using Avimark software
• Keep treatment, exam, and surgical areas clean, organized, and well stocked
• Collaborate with the veterinary team to provide exceptional patient care in a fast-paced environment

What Our Veterinary Technicians Bring

• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum of two years of Veterinary Technician experience required
• Experience with Avimark preferred
• Strong technical and patient care skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Willingness to participate in rotating Saturday shifts
• Positive attitude with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and maintain a strong sense of urgency
