What You’ll Do
- Safely restrain and handle patients using fear-free and low-stress techniques
- Obtain patient histories and perform patient assessments
- Assist veterinarians during surgical and dental procedures
- Monitor anesthesia and patient recovery
- Obtain and process radiographs and dental X-rays
- Prepare medications and support patient treatments
- Maintain clean exam rooms, kennels, runs, and hospital areas
- Support hospitalized patient care and daily clinic operations
- Occasionally participate in a cat rodeo with professionalism and humor

- Previous veterinary assistant experience required
- Strong surgical assisting and anesthesia monitoring skills
- Experience with dental radiographs preferred
