Are you a motivated experienced Licensed Veterinary Technician who enjoys leading a team solving challenges and helping a clinic run smoothly Does your 5 year plan point you toward leadership and management We are seeking a lead veterinary technician to join our team and play a key role in supporting both patient care and staff development. This position is deal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment can confidently delegate responsibilities mentor team members and professionally navigate challenging client interactions while maintaining a positive clinic culture.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and daily guidance to the technicians and assistant team.
• Delegate tasks efficiently to ensure smooth clinic workflow
• Assist in handling and de-escalating difficult or upset client situations with professionalism.
• Support training and continuing education initiatives for the technicial staff.
• Work alongside management with select supervisory and operational responsibilites.
• Maintain high standards of patient care treatment protocols and medical record accuracy.
• Collaborate with veterinarians and leadership to improve clinic processes and team performance.

Qualifications

• Current Licensed Veterinary Technician Credential in VA.
• Prior leadership or senior technician experience a plus.
• Strong communication and conflict-resolution skills.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast paced environment.
• Passion for mentoring team members and promoting professional growth.
• Commitment to excellent patient care and client service.
