Mayville Animal Clinic is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Certified Veterinary Technician to join our team. We are a five-doctor mixed animal practice committed to providing exceptional patient care and outstanding client service. Every day brings something new as we care for a wide variety of animals, including dogs, cats, horses, cattle, goats, chickens, and more.

What Our Veterinary Technicians Do
- Triage patients and obtain thorough medical histories, vital signs, and patient assessments
- Assist veterinarians during examinations, treatments, and procedures
- Provide compassionate nursing care from intake through discharge
- Prepare and administer medications, vaccines, and treatments as directed
- Monitor anesthesia and patient vitals during procedures while maintaining accurate records
- Assist with diagnostics, radiology, laboratory testing, and patient care procedures
- Collaborate with the veterinary team to maintain efficient workflow and exceptional patient care
- Communicate professionally and compassionately with clients regarding patient care and treatment plans
What Our Veterinary Technicians Bring
- Credentialed Veterinary Technician (CVT/LVT/RVT) required
- Confidence working in a fast-paced clinical environment
- Strong patient handling and restraint skills
- Experience with IV catheter placement, surgical assistance, and nursing care
- Knowledge of anesthesia induction, monitoring, and recovery
- Proficiency with radiology, diagnostics, and laboratory procedures
- Excellent communication and client service skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to support coworkers wherever needed
- Positive attitude, reliability, and passion for veterinary medicine
