Job Details

Position: Veterinary Technician (Credentialed or Experienced Non-Credentialed)
Location: Greater Boston, Massachusetts Area
Employment Type: Full-Time or Part-Time
Compensation: $22-$30/hour
Key Responsibilities

Assist veterinarians during examinations, treatments, and surgical procedures
Administer and monitor anesthesia during surgical procedures
Support patient recovery and post-operative care
Perform dental prophylaxis procedures and maintain dental equipment
Conduct laboratory testing and process diagnostic samples
Perform phlebotomy and digital radiography
Educate pet owners on preventive care, wellness, and treatment plans
Maintain a clean, organized, and properly sterilized treatment environment
Safely handle and restrain animal patients
Collaborate closely with veterinarians and support staff to ensure excellent patient outcomes

Qualifications

Credentialed Veterinary Technician (CVT, LVT, or RVT) preferred, but experienced veterinary assistants and non-credentialed technicians are encouraged to apply
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Team-oriented mindset with a passion for animal care
Experience with surgery, anesthesia, dentistry, radiology, and laboratory procedures is highly desirable
Detail-oriented, dependable, and compassionate approach to patient care
Commitment to providing exceptional client service and maintaining high medical standards
