Job Summary
Baze Animal Clinic is seeking a skilled and compassionateVeterinary Technician to join our dedicated team. You’ll be instrumental in providing exceptional pet care, ensuring smooth clinic operations, and gaining valuable hands-on experience across various veterinary disciplines. Responsibilities 
  • Assist veterinarians with animal examinations, treatments, and surgeries by preparing equipment and maintaining sterile fields using aseptic techniques.
  • Handle animals safely using proper restraint techniques for procedures such as blood draws, injections, catheterizations, and physical examinations.
  • Administer medications accurately following veterinary instructions, including oral, injectable, and topical treatments.
  • Support animal husbandry tasks such as feeding when needed and cleaning kennels to ensure optimal animal welfare.
  • Manage front desk responsibilities including appointment scheduling, client communication, and maintaining detailed medical records.
  • Conduct laboratory tests and prepare samples for diagnostics to aid in accurate diagnosis and treatment planning.
Qualifications
  • Prior kennel experience or animal handling background with a strong understanding of pet care principles.
  • Experience working in a veterinary clinic or similar setting is highly preferred; veterinary technician or assistant experience is a plus.
  • Ability to handle animals confidently across various species with skills in dog handling and animal restraint.
  • Familiarity with medication administration methods and basic animal physiology concepts required.
  • Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members at the front desk or during procedures.
  • Willingness to learn new skills
