PetCure Oncology is looking for full-time Veterinary Technicians to join our team as part of the Thrive Pet Healthcare community in Clifton, NJ.

 

About You

You’ll play an important role in pets’ lives delivering exceptional care to patients undergoing advanced cancer treatment. Your meaningful work will range from providing skilled technical support for radiation oncology and medical oncology procedures, monitoring patients throughout treatment, and performing laboratory testing, to coordinating essential patient care services including admissions, discharges, and client support.

Your Experience & Skills 

·          Minimum 2+ years of clinical veterinary experience as a Veterinary Technician (direct patient care)

·          CVT/RVT/LVT (active and current) strongly preferred 

·          Veterinary Chemotherapy/Radiation Oncology experience preferred but not required

·          Has strong anesthesia skills (Able to obtain Blood pressure, ECG, Sp02, and ETC02 and integrate clinical signs with disease processes to assist doctors in early and appropriate intervention of patient care)

·          Possesses a positive work attitude

·          Self-motivated

·          Excellent communication and organization skills

Compensation is negotiable based on experience and credentials, with an expected starting rate of $30 / hour. The actual compensation will carefully consider a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
