Veterinary Technician

We are seeking an enthusiastic, dependable, and team-orientated person to add to our existing team to provide high quality veterinary medical services and customer service.

We are seeking employees able to work:

• Both full-time and part-time
• Opening and closing shifts
  • Business hours are 8 AM to 6 PM Mondays - Fridays, scheduled hours may vary
• This position requires a commitment to work on Saturdays
  • Business hours are 9 AM to 2 PM Saturdays, scheduled hours may vary
• Open availability preferred

Salary / Pay Type:

• Based on experience

Your duties as a veterinary technician would include, but not limited to:

• client education
• answering multiple phone lines
• client care
• assisting doctors in surgery
• general cleaning and pet care
• running labs including, but not limited to:
  • fecal tests
  • blood work
  • heartworm tests
  • ear cytologies
  • urine tests
• blood draws & placing catheters
• knowledge of veterinary protocols and products
• Duties may also include working in all areas of the hospital when needed

This position is open to individuals who enjoy working with companion animals and their owners, in a professional, challenging and focused environment.

Previous experience with companion animals is required.

A professional, mature, hardworking and an ability to work with others is required.
