We are a locally owned veterinary practice in Weatherford dedicated to providing exceptional, compassionate care to our patients while treating our clients — and each other — like family.

About the Role

\n

This is a prime position for someone who is comfortable helping both in the treatment/exam area and at the front desk. The ideal candidate is compassionate, organized, a strong communicator, and willing to jump in wherever the team needs help.

\n

\n

Veterinary Technician/Assistant Responsibilities May Include:

\n

• \n
• Assisting veterinarians and veterinary technicians with patient care
• \n
• Safely handling and restraining dogs and cats
• \n
• Preparing exam rooms and treatment areas
• \n
• Cleaning and maintaining patient and hospital areas
• \n
• Assisting with basic treatments and procedures as appropriate
• \n
• Helping keep the medical team organized and running efficiently
• \n

Reception Responsibilities May Include:

\n

• \n
• Greeting clients and patients with a warm, professional attitude
• \n
• Answering phones and responding to client questions
• \n
• Scheduling and confirming appointments
• \n
• Checking clients in and out
• \n
• Processing payments
• \n
• Communicating clearly with clients and the veterinary team
• \n
• Helping maintain an organized and welcoming front desk
• \n

What We’re Looking For

• \n
• A genuine love for animals and people
• \n
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• \n
• Dependable, positive, and team-oriented attitude
• \n
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• \n
• Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
• \n
• Previous veterinary hospital, animal care, medical office, or customer service experience is a plus
• \n
• Veterinary reception and/or veterinary assistant experience is preferred, but we encourage motivated candidates with the right attitude and willingness to learn to apply
• \n
