Position Overview:
The Veterans Health Administration (VHA) is seeking a dedicated and skilled Gynecologist to join our healthcare team in Mather, CA. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive gynecological care to our veteran population, ensuring high-quality patient care and promoting the health and wellness of our veterans.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive gynecological exams and procedures
- Diagnose and treat various gynecological conditions
- Provide patient education on preventative care and health maintenance
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated care
- Participate in the development and implementation of treatment plans
- Maintain accurate and complete medical records
Qualifications:
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree from an accredited school
- Board certified or board eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology
- A valid, unrestricted medical license to practice in the United States
- Relevant clinical experience in gynecology
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Commitment to providing high-quality and compassionate care to veterans
