Overview
Position Summary: Operates Vibratory Finishing machines that removes burrs and polishing belt lines to prepare tool surface for plating or black finish.
Responsibilities
KEY TASKS
Operates Vibratory Finishing machines that removes burrs and polishing belt lines to prepare tool surface for plating or black finish.
Makes additions to chemicals as needed to maintain proper titrations.
Visually inspect sample units for proper surface finish prior to unloading machines.
Other assigned work instructions.
Material Handling for department.
Operates overhead crane
Uses some judgment to comply with instructions; work involves prescribed routines, methods or practices which allow for the making of minor decisions.
Qualifications
REQUIREMENTS
Ability to use shop mathematics; work with fairly complicated drawings, specifications and formulas in manufacturing
Ability to read and write; add and subtract whole numbers; use reading and fixed gaugesS
