The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training and internal pay comparison. The Vice Dean will provide holistic, high-level oversight, support, and direction for administrative functions at the School of Law. The VD is tasked with creating a strong, efficient team, with a high level of organizational effectiveness. Directly manages non-academic assistant and associate deans, including all aspects of individual and team assessment, professional development, management, and mentoring for non-academic assistant and associate deans, with input from the Dean. Also serves as a resource for other members of the senior leadership team. Directly responsible for oversight of all administrative operations and ensuring operational efficiency and effectiveness through process improvement, workflow redesign, and alignment of daily operations, projects, and programs to strategic priorities. Maintains a productive, collaborative, transparent, and collegial environment for all faculty and staff, and helps to ensure positive student outcomes.
