Job Description:

We are partnering with a large, well-established banking client to help them hire a VP of Client Processing for their Loan Enablement group. This role will serve as a Group Manager, overseeing teams responsible for loan operations and driving process improvement, risk management, and operational excellence across the loan lifecycle.

They are looking for a strong leader with deep experience in loan operations, credit products, or lending services, who can manage teams, streamline workflows, and support ongoing transformation initiatives within a highly regulated environment.

This is a full-time, permanent position with the client, and relocation assistance may be provided for the right candidate. This position is also bonus eligible. The role would sit in Houston, TX, for their Loan Enablement group.

The Role:

As the Vice President of Client Processing, you will lead the charge in ensuring the seamless, high-precision execution of complex client transactions. This is a critical leadership role within our Transaction Processing function, directly supporting our strategic pillars of client-centricity and operational efficiency.

You will serve as a bridge between high-level strategy and daily execution, fostering a culture of accountability and innovation while acting as a key Subject Matter Expert (SME) for our global client base.

Your Impact:

  • Lead the end-to-end execution of complex client transactions, ensuring total accuracy and adherence to strict timelines.
  • Workflow Optimization: Partner with cross-functional PODs and Service Delivery Groups to streamline transaction workflows, reducing operational risk and increasing throughput.
  • Subject Matter Expertise: Act as the primary technical resource for loan processing, providing high-level guidance and mentorship to junior team members to elevate the collective skill set of the department.
  • Data-Driven Improvement: Analyze key processing metrics to identify emerging trends, using these insights to implement tangible improvements to the client experience.
  • Client Relationship Management: Directly engage with clients to resolve high-priority or complex transaction issues, maintaining trust through expert problem-solving.
  • Innovation & Best Practices: Drive "out-of-the-box" process innovations by leveraging industry benchmarks, ensuring we remain at the forefront of transaction excellence.

What We're Looking For:

  • The Loan Specialist: You have deep, hands-on experience with syndicated loans, loan servicing, ClearPar, and LSTA standards.
  • Financial Service Veteran: Typically 5-8 years of professional experience, specifically within loan operations or brokerage processing in a financial services setting.
  • Tech-Forward Mindset: Highly proficient in transaction processing systems and Microsoft Office, with a keen ability to leverage new digital tools to automate manual tasks.
  • Analytical Problem Solver: You possess the "detail-oriented" rigor required to manage complex financial data while maintaining the ability to self-manage and prioritize under pressure.
  • Collaborative Communicator: Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence internal stakeholders and provide a "white-glove" experience for clients.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field (Advanced degree or professional certifications like a CFA or MBA preferred).
  • Applicable local/regional licenses or certifications as required by the business.
