Vice President Clinical Support Services

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Facilitates alignment and achievement of system nursing, support and ancillary services consistent with the organization's goals and objectives while directing the day-to-day execution of the strategies and tactics necessary to successfully improve the outcomes and results of the organization.
• Drives integration and "systemness" related to system clinical operations.
• Oversight and strategy for Clinical Operations including: workforce management, clinical innovation, and operational effectiveness.
• Oversees operational performance data gathering and dissemination.
• Oversees and develops agenda for Operations Leadership Group (OLG).
• Special projects as assigned.

Common Expectations:

• Manages employees through subordinates, usually other managers. Establishes performance goals, allocates resources and assesses policies for direct subordinates. Provides orientation, training, and continuing education of employees in area(s) of responsibility.
• Maintains professional growth and development through seminars, workshops, and professional affiliations to keep abreast of latest trends in field of expertise.
• Creates a culture resulting in a highly engaged workforce.
• Provides outstanding service to all customers; fosters teamwork; and practices fiscal responsibility through improvement and innovation.
