About the Role

The Company is in search of a VP, Commercial Legal Counsel with a focus on rare disease product launch experience. The successful candidate will be a strategic legal partner, providing guidance on a wide range of commercialization issues with a significant impact on the enterprise. This role involves advising the business on advertising and promotional activities, interactions with external stakeholders, and providing strategic legal advice on patient support programs, market access, pricing, and distribution channels. The VP will also be responsible for ensuring that commercialization activities are conducted in compliance with healthcare regulatory laws and company policies, as well as monitoring and assessing the impact of emerging legal trends.Candidates for this position must have a Juris Doctorate from a fully accredited law school, be admitted to the Massachusetts bar, and have at least 15 years of legal experience, with a preference for those with leadership experience in a commercial-stage biopharma company. Deep familiarity with healthcare compliance laws, particularly FDA advertising and promotion compliance, is essential. The role requires exceptional communication skills, the ability to work in a fast-paced global environment, and a commitment to high ethical standards. The VP will also be involved in developing and mentoring legal colleagues and must be prepared to work in a hybrid schedule with in-office requirements.
