Description

We are seeking an experienced Vice President to join our Consumer & Retail group and lead our investment banking efforts. This role is pivotal in executing transactions, developing strategies, and fostering strong client relationships. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in investment banking, particularly in the Consumer & Retail sectors, and a passion for mentoring and leading a dynamic team.

  • 4-10 years of investment banking experience, with a strong focus on transaction execution and leadership.
  • Prior Consumer & Retail investment banking experience is highly preferred, demonstrating a deep sector understanding.
  • Proven track record in leading M&A, capital raising, and strategic advisory transactions, showcasing expertise.
  • Advanced financial modeling, valuation, and analytical skills, ensuring accurate and insightful analysis.
  • Strong grasp of transaction structuring, due diligence, and capital markets processes, facilitating smooth transactions.
  • Ability to manage multiple live engagements simultaneously, with exceptional communication and client management skills.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, contributing to business development, and a passion for driving innovative solutions.
  • Bachelor''s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field, with strong academic credentials.
  • Professional designations such as MBA, CFA, or similar are advantageous, reflecting a commitment to excellence.
  • Experience advising clients across Consumer, Retail, and related sectors, with a network of industry connections.

Salary: $150,000 - $225,000 + Discretionary Bonus

  • Manage transaction processes, ensuring efficient client communications, due diligence, and financial analysis.
  • Review and direct the development of complex financial models and transaction materials, maintaining high standards.
  • Oversee the creation of pitch books, presentations, and marketing materials, representing the firm''s expertise.
  • Serve as the primary client contact, building trust and providing strategic guidance during live transactions.
  • Develop and nurture relationships with industry leaders, corporate executives, and financial sponsors.
  • Support business development by identifying new opportunities and expanding our client base.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, offering strategic insights to clients and internal teams for informed decision-making.
  • Mentor and train Analysts and Associates, fostering a culture of excellence and professional growth.
  • Collaborate with senior bankers to refine sector strategies, enhance client coverage, and drive revenue generation.
