Vice President, Digital Marketing (Social Media)

NextStep Recruiting has partnered with a growing financial services organization to identify a Vice President of Digital Marketing in North Dallas. This role is 100% onsite and will have full ownership of the organization’s digital and social media strategy, paid media investments, creative direction, and customer acquisition efforts while leading and continuing to build out the digital marketing team.

This position is ideal for a strategic, hands-on marketing executive who understands both the creative and performance sides of digital marketing. The ideal candidate has successfully managed significant paid media investments, knows how to translate data into customer acquisition strategy, and is confident taking full ownership of a digital marketing function with the autonomy to build, innovate, and execute.

Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field with 8–10+ years of progressive digital marketing leadership experience
• Financial services industry experience with a strong understanding of marketing to consumers facing financial challenges; debt settlement experience is highly desired
• Extensive paid media and media buying expertise across channels such as Meta, Google, TikTok, YouTube, display/programmatic, and other digital platforms
• Proven experience managing significant marketing investments, ideally including annual paid media budgets of approximately $5M+, with accountability for CAC, CPL, ROAS, conversion rates, and overall ROI
• Demonstrated success developing customer acquisition strategies, directing creative campaigns, and using analytics and performance data to optimize marketing investments

Preferred:

• Early-career agency experience followed by in-house/corporate digital marketing leadership
• Direct experience within debt settlement, consumer lending, FinTech, consumer finance, banking, or credit services
• Experience building and leading digital marketing teams, including developing strategy, processes, workflows, and performance expectations
• Strong creative leadership with experience developing messaging and content that resonates with targeted consumer audiences
• Executive-level communication skills with the confidence to independently own strategy, present performance and recommendations to senior leadership, and operate with significant autonomy
