Job Description

At Ameriprise Financial, technology is a strategic differentiator. We are seeking a Vice President, Enterprise Architecture Platforms & AI Enablement to define and lead the platform architecture strategy that enables innovation, accelerates delivery, and unlocks the value of AI across the enterprise.

In this role, you will shape how platforms and GenAI capabilities are designed, governed, and adopted—delivering secure, reusable, and AI-ready building blocks that power product teams and business outcomes. You will leverage your strong competencies in cloud architecture, DevSecOps, database, integration, security, and enterprise systems to lead a high-performing global architecture organization and partner with senior technology and business leaders to modernize the enterprise technology landscape.

This is a highly visible leadership role for a strategic architect and change agent who thrives at the intersection of platform thinking, cloud-native architecture, and responsible AI.

We are a client-centric, relationship-based business. Working together, in-person, is foundational to how we achieve results. By fostering a culture of face-to-face collaboration, idea sharing, productivity and personal connection, we deliver for our stakeholders — clients, advisors, employees and shareholders. Our employees work in the office at least four (4) days per week, with flexibility to work from home one (1) day per week. Some roles may require additional in-office time or different in-office expectations, and specific requirements will be discussed during the hiring process.

Applicants must have a valid work authorization that does not now, or in the future, require visa sponsorship for employment in the United States (e.g., H-1B, F-1 CPT, F-1 OPT, TN).
