Vice President Field Operations

Job Summary/Company:  Sparks has partnered with a  leading Non-Profit seeking a Vice President, Field Operations.  The Vice President, Field Operations, is responsible for evaluating performance and supporting the  volunteer Regional Vice Presidents, District Directors, and Chapter Chairs to ensure client satisfaction, quality service delivery, engaged volunteers, compliant procedures, and effective communication. The Vice President proactively monitors chapter performance, the implementation of field operational plans and works collaboratively with other staff and volunteer leadership to maintain and enhance culture to achieve organizational goals.


Responsibilities:

• Contribute to organizational strategy by analyzing field performance and developing operational strategies that support goals.
• Improve field operations through scalable processes that enhance consistency, efficiency, quality, and the volunteer experience.
• Evaluate Chapter, District, and Regional structures for compliance with minimum standards and opportunities for consolidation.
• Develop and implement field leadership development, succession planning, training, and education programs.
• Ensure consistent implementation of policies, programs, tools, and initiatives across Field operations.
• Collaborate with  teams and Field leaders to address operational challenges, investigations, volunteer concerns, and leadership transitions.
• Approve the appointment of new District and Regional leaders in partnership with Regional Vice Presidents.
• Maintain processes and documentation to support continuity during leadership transitions.
• Manage annual Field budget allocations and resources in accordance with Finance policies and operational needs.
• Represent HQ through travel to Chapters, Districts, and Regions as needed.
• Provide leadership, supervision, coaching, and support to Field Operations staff.
• Recruit, interview, and make hiring, promotion, disciplinary, and termination recommendations or decisions as appropriate.
• Assign and delegate work, establish procedures and standards, monitor performance, and complete formal evaluations of Field leaders.

Qualifications/Background Profile:

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in an executive leadership role

  Experience with non-profit or associations preferred

  Experience leading volunteer-based non-profit organizations preferred

  Small Business startup experience preferred

  Agile / LEAN methods experience preferred

This job is Fully Remote.

Pay Range: Salary $170,000.00 to $190,000.00
