Vice President - Full Stack Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications using Java, Spring Boot, and Angular
• Build and operate cloud-native microservices deployed on Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)
• Architect highly available, scalable, and low-latency distributed systems
• Implement resiliency patterns, including circuit breakers, retries, back-pressure, and graceful degradation
• Develop and integrate event-driven systems using Kafka or similar streaming technologies
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs and backend services
• Ensure security-by-design practices aligned with modern DevSecOps principles
• Contribute to monitoring, observability, and reliability practices, including APM, metrics, logs, SLOs, and error budgets
• Collaborate with architecture, product, and platform engineering teams
• Drive software quality through TDD, automated testing, and CI/CD pipelines

AI-Enabled Engineering Experience (Required)

Candidates must demonstrate practical use of AI-assisted development tools within their engineering workflow, including:

• AI-assisted code generation and refactoring
• Automated test generation and validation
• Debugging and reviewing AI-generated code

This capability will be evaluated during the interview process.

Security & Compliance

• Strong understanding of DevSecOps principles
• Experience implementing secure coding practices
• Experience with secrets management
• Familiarity with compliance guardrails in regulated environments

Basic Qualifications

• 5–9 years of software engineering experience
• Strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture
• Experience building distributed, high-throughput systems
• Hands-on experience with Azure AKS or similar container platforms
• Strong system design and problem-solving abilities

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with event-driven architecture and Kafka
• Background in financial services or other regulated industries
• Experience with performance optimization and system profiling
• Experience working within fast-paced Agile delivery environments
