Position Overview

One of our top New York-based global investment firm clients is expanding their Global Subadvisory Distribution team. This firm is globally recognized and specializes in differentiated real asset and income-focused investment strategies, with a broad distribution platform spanning institutional, intermediary, and sub-advisory channels. The team is looking for a Vice President who will lead business development and relationship management efforts with global asset managers, insurers, and financial intermediaries. This individual will drive growth initiatives, support client retention, and serve as a key liaison between clients and internal investment, product, and marketing teams. Strong investment acumen, sales expertise, and presentation skills are essential.

Responsibilities

  • Prospecting asset managers, insurance companies and other financial institutions which could partner with the firm in a subadvisory capacity

  • Leading coverage with select existing subadvisory relationships to expand relationships in existing products and new launches

  • Developing and leading campaigns and roadshows for relationship expansion and promotion

  • Working with the Institutional Channel Marketing partners to prepare presentations and campaigns

  • Collaborating with Associates and Directors across the firm, as well as internal teams such as Marketing, Legal, Compliance, Investment, and Ops

  • Traveling to existing and future clients located across North America, Australia, New Zealand, and eventually European countries

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from a reputable university

  • 10+ years of related experience in institutional sales and/or relationship management within Financial Services

  • Series 7 and Series 63 licenses

  • Advanced degree or certifications (CFA, CAIA, CFP, CIMA) valued but not required

  • Knowledge of real asset investment structures and vehicles

  • Must be willing to travel a third of the time

Compensation and Benefits

  • Estimated first year salary between $170,000-200,000
