Position Description:
The Vice President of Health and Wellness is responsible for the development and management of all healthy lifestyle services and programs aimed at enhancing the overall health and well-being of individuals participating in Terrebonne General Health System Healthy Lifestyle Center.
Under direction of the Chief Operating Officer, the VP oversees the management of the Center, its wellness programs and overall operations using a collaborative approach to provide guidance and leadership to both members and staff in alignment with, and support of, Terrebonne General’s priorities, protocols, and values. The VP will focus on the management of quality patient care and experience, collaborative teamwork, financial viability, operating performance, and regulatory compliance.
This position requires a diverse skill set, including leadership, strategic planning, and a thorough understanding of health and wellness practices. The VP collaborates with various stakeholders within the Center, Terrebonne General’s main hospital and all affiliated partners. This role is required to create a positive and healthy environment, promoting activities, education and resources that encourage a balanced lifestyle for both members and patients alike. This role is crucial in fostering a culture of wellness that improves productivity, reduces healthcare costs, and enhances the quality of life for all participants.
Qualifications:
1. Master’s Degree or Advanced Practice Clinician in a health-related field required.
2. Minimum of 10 years’ experience in developing and managing wellness programs or related clinical experience.
3. Minimum of 10 years of leadership and supervisory experience.
4. Demonstrated experience supervising teams of 50 or more employees.
5. Demonstrated experience with managing budgets over $15 million and negotiating payer and employer contracts.
6. Strong communication skills and ability to engage diverse audiences.
7. Strong leadership and project management skills.
8. Experience with data analysis and outcome measurement.
9. Proficient in Microsoft Office.
