Job Title: Vice President of Human Resources
Location: Southern California Preferred (Los Angeles / Orange County)

Compensation: Up to $350,000 Base, DOE + 40-50% Bonus
Work Type: Hybrid | Executive Travel Required

This is not a traditional HR leadership role.
Our client is seeking a highly commercial, business-minded executive who understands that people strategy and business strategy are inseparable. The successful candidate will serve as a trusted advisor to executive leadership while helping shape organizational design, compensation strategy, workforce planning, talent management, leadership development, and overall business performance across a multi-state organization.

This is not an environment where executives simply manage processes from a distance. Leadership values individuals who remain engaged in the business, build relationships throughout the organization, and maintain visibility across operations.
Ideal Background
The strongest candidates will likely possess:
Industry experience within distribution, building products, construction-related industries, manufacturing, or other multi-site operating environments is highly desirable.
Experience with California employment law and other complex employment jurisdictions is strongly preferred.
Travel
This role requires regular travel throughout the organization's national footprint (~25%).
The successful candidate should enjoy spending time in the field, building relationships, understanding operations firsthand, and partnering directly with employees and leaders across the business.
