This executive will partner with the CEO and leadership team to design and implement a people strategy that aligns with the company's values and ambitious business objectives. Key responsibilities include shaping the organization's leadership and organizational structure, serving as the primary authority on employment law and people risk, and leading the development of a high-performing, cohesive HR function. The successful candidate will have a hands-on, high-impact approach, with a focus on executive coaching, organizational design, and workforce strategy. They will also be responsible for leading change management efforts and ensuring that the company's culture and leadership capacity are in line with long-term strategy.The ideal candidate for the VP of HR position at the company will have a Bachelor's degree in a related field, with a JD or MBA preferred, and at least 15 years of progressive HR leadership experience, including a minimum of 5 years at the VP level. Experience in labor and employee relations with a union workforce is essential. The role requires a leader with a proven track record in organizational design, restructuring, and transformation, as well as deep expertise in employment law, compliance, and risk mitigation. The candidate should possess strong business acumen, executive presence, and the ability to influence and challenge senior leaders.
