Keystone is expanding into North Carolina and seeking a Vice President of Community Management to lead community management across the state. This executive role exists to establish clear direction, build a strong operating foundation, and ensure the new market delivers the service and leadership Keystone’s clients expect.
As a member of the executive leadership team, you will shape the strategy for the Community Management division in North Carolina while guiding daily operations, developing leaders, strengthening client relationships, and aligning the market with Keystone’s broader business goals.
This is an opportunity for a decisive, forward-looking leader who combines community association expertise with strong business and financial judgment. You will have the latitude to move the market forward while building the structure, accountability, and cross-functional partnerships required for sustainable performance.
This is a salaried, exempt position with a base salary range of $150,000–$180,000 and eligibility for a 12% annual bonus.
Keystone’s Vice President package includes unlimited PTO, 12 paid holidays, company-paid medical insurance for employee-only coverage, monthly cell phone and auto allowances, a 401(k) retirement plan with company match, support for continued education, training and mentorship from successful HOA industry leaders, company-paid long-term disability insurance, and company-paid life insurance of up to two times the employee’s annual salary.
This position is based in Raleigh, North Carolina and reports to the Chief Operating Officer. Keystone offers hybrid and flexible working arrangements, and the Vice President will have autonomy to adjust their schedule based on business, team, and client needs. The role includes office-based leadership, visits to client communities, and travel as needed, which may include travel to Keystone’s corporate office in California. Evening, weekend, or on-call availability may occasionally be required based on business and client needs.
Candidates currently located in or near the Raleigh market are preferred. Relocation assistance may be considered on a case-by-case basis.
The role is performed primarily in a typical office environment with low-level noise exposure and requires the ability to sit, stand, operate standard business equipment, frequently use a telephone or headset, visit communities for meetings, and move throughout properties during site inspections. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the position.
You will work closely with the Chief Operating Officer, executive leadership, sales and marketing, recruiting, and other operational teams. Your role is to connect North Carolina’s client and team needs with enterprise priorities, create alignment across functions, and ensure decisions translate into effective execution.
Within approximately 12 to 18 months, the successful leader will have:
You are proactive, future-focused, and comfortable establishing direction when every answer is not yet defined. You make thoughtful risk decisions, communicate directly and factually, and bring the self-confidence to move important work forward without waiting for excessive direction. You are motivated by meaningful goals, visible progress, and the opportunity to build a strong market.
You pair urgency with structure. You delegate effectively, establish useful systems and processes, and stay close enough to performance to keep execution on track. You can shift priorities when conditions change, remain analytical under pressure, and adjust your level of visibility and engagement to earn trust with teams, clients, and executive partners.
Keystone helps boards and community members reconnect to where they live. As the company expands into North Carolina, this role offers the opportunity to join the executive leadership team, shape a new market, and establish the leadership, team, and operating foundation needed to support its success.
If you are energized by building teams, strengthening client relationships, and creating the operational discipline behind a growing market, we invite you to explore this opportunity.
