The individual will oversee all financial and accounting operations, ensuring the financial health and sustainability of our organization. This role is pivotal in driving strategic financial planning, budget management, cost-benefit analysis, and forecasting needs. The successful candidate will also be responsible for ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations and standards. Job Details

Responsibilities:

1. Oversee all financial operations and direct corporate financial planning and structure.
2. Coordinate, analyze and report the financial performance to Management and Board of Directors (financial performance, projections and other special projects as required).
3. Prepare short and long-term financial forecasts of financial performance for use with internal management and external parties.
4. Oversee audit and tax functions, coordinate activities with outside audit firms and review firms' performance.
5. Develop, implement and maintain accounting and administrative policies and procedures for a wide-ranging set of activities including financial accounting and reporting, employee relations (hiring/terminating policies) and other corporate policies.
6. Proficiency in all aspects of corporate accounting and all pertinent GAAP, SEC rules and regulations including Sarbanes-Oxley compliance.
7. Responsible for corporate and healthcare finance, managing cash flow, and financial risk.
8. Collaborate with executive leadership to develop financial strategies across all units.
9. Design, implement, and monitor departmental budgets.
10. Ensure that all financial transactions are properly recorded, filed, and reported.
11. Establish internal controls and guidelines for accounting transactions and budget preparation.

Qualifications:

1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior-level Finance or Accounting position.
2. Proven experience in a leadership role in the Healthcare or Non-profit sectors.
3. Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field is required.
4. Professional accreditation such as certified public accountant (CPA) or certified management accountant (CMA) is a plus.
5. Extensive understanding of financial trends both within the company and general market patterns.
6. Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
7. A solid understanding of financial statistics and accounting principles.
8. Working knowledge of all statutory legislation and regulations.
9. Advanced proficiency in accounting software and spreadsheet programs and applications.
10. Demonstrated leadership ability, team management, and interpersonal skills.
11. Excellent analytical and abstract reasoning skills, plus excellent organization skills.
12. Strong ethical standards and high levels of integrity.
