GAC Enterprises, LLC is seeking an experienced and strategic Vice President of Finance to lead and oversee the company’s financial operations, reporting, forecasting, and long-term financial strategy. This position plays a critical leadership role in supporting operational growth, financial accountability, and executive decision-making across the organization.
Position Summary
The Vice President of Finance will oversee accounting, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, financial compliance, project financial analysis, and operational financial performance within a fast-paced construction and infrastructure environment. This role will work closely with executive leadership, operations, project management, and department leaders to ensure financial stability, operational efficiency, and scalable growth.
The ideal candidate is a highly analytical and operationally focused finance leader with strong experience in construction, project-based accounting, financial planning, and organizational leadership.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide executive leadership and strategic direction for all financial operations of the organization, including accounting, financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, treasury, reporting, and risk management.
- Partner with executive leadership to develop and execute the company’s long-term financial strategy, operational growth plans, and organizational objectives.
- Oversee all financial reporting activities, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements.
- Lead company-wide budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes across all departments, projects, and operational divisions.
- Direct financial oversight of construction operations, including project accounting, job costing, work-in-progress (WIP) reporting, labor analysis, equipment utilization, and profitability tracking.
- Monitor organizational cash flow, liquidity, banking relationships, debt management, and capital allocation to support operational and strategic initiatives.
- Analyze financial and operational performance metrics to identify risks, trends, opportunities, and areas for cost reduction and operational improvement.
- Collaborate with operations, project management, procurement, fleet, HR, payroll, and executive leadership to align financial controls with business operations.
- Oversee internal financial controls, compliance initiatives, audit processes, and risk management programs to protect organizational assets and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Manage relationships with external auditors, financial institutions, bonding companies, insurance providers, tax advisors, and regulatory agencies.
- Support executive decision-making through advanced financial modeling, forecasting, profitability analysis, and strategic recommendations.
- Lead financial planning and analysis for expansion initiatives, acquisitions, capital investments, and large-scale operational projects.
- Oversee contract financial reviews, revenue recognition, billing processes, and financial exposure analysis related to construction and service agreements.
- Develop and maintain organizational key performance indicators (KPIs), dashboards, and executive reporting tools to support data-driven leadership decisions.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, local, tax, payroll, and construction-related financial regulations and reporting requirements.
- Drive process improvement initiatives, ERP optimization, automation efforts, and reporting efficiencies across the finance and accounting functions.
- Oversee accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, fixed assets, treasury, and general ledger management.
- Lead, mentor, and develop finance and accounting leadership teams while establishing departmental goals, accountability standards, and succession planning initiatives.
- Present financial performance, forecasts, operational analysis, and strategic recommendations to executive leadership, ownership groups, and stakeholders.
- Support organizational growth by promoting financial accountability, operational transparency, and scalable financial infrastructure across the company.
Requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field required.
- CPA, CMA, MBA, or other advanced financial certifications preferred.
- 8+ years of progressive finance and accounting leadership experience, preferably within construction, telecommunications, infrastructure, or project-based industries.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and internal controls.
- Experience with project accounting, job costing, WIP reporting, and operational financial analysis.
- Strong leadership, communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, ERP systems, and financial reporting software.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced operational environment.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams and supporting executive-level decision-making.
