Job Details

We are seeking a Vice President of Food Safety & Quality Assurance (FSQA) to lead and build the company’s food safety and quality programs across multiple manufacturing facilities. This role is both strategic and hands-on, focused on driving a best-in-class FSQA function while standardizing processes and elevating quality culture across all locations.

Location: Nashville, TN or Atlanta, GA (Atlanta preferred)
Travel: 50–80% across multiple plants

What You’ll Do:
  • Own and execute enterprise-wide FSQA strategy
  • Drive food safety culture and continuous improvement across all facilities
  • Serve as a key advisor to executive leadership on food safety risks and decisions
  • Lead and standardize HACCP programs, SOPs, audits (FDA, USDA, customer), and supplier quality
  • Oversee sanitation programs, environmental monitoring, and quality KPIs
  • Partner cross-functionally with operations, plant leadership, and supply chain
  • Act as the primary point of contact for customer-facing quality issues
  • Lead, develop, and scale QA teams across multiple plants

What You Bring:
  • 15+ years of experience in Food Safety & Quality Assurance
  • 5+ years of leadership experience at the Director level or higher
  • Background in food manufacturing (required)
  • Strong experience with HACCP, FDA/USDA regulations, and multi-site environments
  • Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Chemistry, or related field (required)
  • HACCP certification required; SQF experience strongly preferred

Nice to Have:
  • Experience in high-growth environments
  • Background in scaling FSQA programs across multiple facilities
  • Experience building systems from the ground up

Compensation & Benefits:
