Description
Vice President, Health Services
Cincinnati, OH | Senior Living / Healthcare | Monday–Friday | Day Shift
Employment: Full-Time / Direct Hire
About the Opportunity
One of the fastest-growing senior living organizations in the country is adding a Vice President of Health Services to its executive team. This organization has doubled its workforce in under two years, is actively expanding into new states, and is building a portfolio that will continue to scale. This is an executive seat with direct CEO access and genuine enterprise-level scope.
What You'll Do
Provide executive-level operational oversight across 8+ senior living campuses throughout Ohio, with continued expansion underway
Lead and develop 7 direct reports and approximately 20 indirect reports across Clinical Quality, Health Services, Facilities, Construction, Residential Services, Culinary, and Preschool
Partner directly with the President/CEO to shape long-term growth strategy, including evaluation and integration of new campus acquisitions
Set and enforce organization-wide standards for clinical quality, regulatory compliance, and resident experience across all service lines
Drive fiscal performance through strategic budgeting, P&L accountability, and resource optimization across a multi-campus portfolio
Lead regulatory readiness and compliance across federal, state, and local requirements — including proactive survey and audit preparedness
Anticipate industry trends and emerging care models; champion technology adoption and operational innovation that advances the resident experience
Build succession depth by identifying, developing, and retaining high-potential leaders at every level of the organization
Represent the organization as an executive ambassador and thought leader in the senior living industry
What You'll Need
10+ years of progressive leadership experience in senior living, post-acute care, skilled nursing, or a related healthcare setting
5+ years of multi-site or regional executive leadership with direct P&L accountability across multiple markets
Proven track record leading organizations or divisions through significant growth, expansion, or transformation
Deep expertise in clinical operations, regulatory compliance, and quality management across skilled nursing, assisted living, or memory care
Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Nursing, Business, or a related field required; Master's degree (MHA or MBA) strongly preferred
Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA) or Registered Nurse (RN) licensure preferred
Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire geographically distributed, mission-driven teams
Comfort with 50–70% travel across a multi-state portfolio
Strong executive presence with the ability to engage and influence at all levels — from frontline care staff to board leadership
Why This Role
This is a rare opportunity to join a high-growth senior living organization at an inflection point — with the executive influence, organizational support, and personal mission alignment to build something that genuinely redefines what senior living looks like.
