The Restaurant Zone is seeking a strategic and visionary Vice President of IT to lead the technology initiatives for our top Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) concept. This senior leadership role will be instrumental in shaping and executing the IT strategy to support business growth, operational efficiency, and superior customer experience. The Vice President of IT will oversee all aspects of technology, including infrastructure, security, application development, and digital transformation initiatives. This role requires a strong leader who can collaborate across departments, manage IT teams, and drive innovation in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the overall IT strategy aligned with the company’s business objectives.
  • Lead and manage IT teams across various functions, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
  • Oversee the implementation, maintenance, and optimization of technology infrastructure and systems.
  • Drive digital transformation initiatives including POS systems, mobile platforms, and customer engagement technologies.
  • Manage IT budgeting, vendor relationships, and ensure cost-effective solutions.
  • Ensure the security and compliance of all IT systems and data.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional leaders to identify technology needs and deliver solutions that enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends to maintain a competitive advantage.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a senior IT leader, preferably as a Vice President or Director of IT in the QSR or foodservice industry.
  • Strong strategic thinking and leadership skills.
  • Extensive knowledge of IT infrastructure, application development, cybersecurity, and digital transformation.
  • Excellent project management and vendor management capabilities.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience managing large teams and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Understanding of data privacy, security standards, and compliance requirements.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
