The Company is seeking a Vice President of Marketing and Communications to serve as its senior brand and narrative leader. This pivotal role involves elevating the organization's story, impact, and engagement with a focus on community-centered, equitable change. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing integrated strategies that amplify the company's mission, strengthen its brand, and deepen engagement across diverse constituencies. Key responsibilities include executive communication, strategic leadership, and departmental management, with a strong emphasis on storytelling, community-centered narrative, and marketing strategies to support donor engagement and fundraising goals.Candidates for this role should have at least 10 years' of experience in communications, marketing, public affairs, or a related field, with a proven track record in leading integrated strategies and managing multidisciplinary teams. A deep understanding of the Greater Los Angeles region, its communities, and its civic, cultural, and political landscape is essential. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker, an exceptional communicator, and a champion of equity and social justice. They should be adept at digital strategy, and marketing technology, and have experience in reputation management and crisis communications. Professional proficiency in Spanish is required, and a background in philanthropy, nonprofit, or civic sector settings is preferred.
