    Description

    We are seeking a strategic and experienced Vice President of MDS (Clinical Reimbursement) to oversee clinical reimbursement operations for  skilled nursing facilities in and around the Collinsville, IL area. This executive-level role provides leadership, oversight, and direction to ensure accurate reimbursement, regulatory compliance, and strong financial and clinical outcomes across the portfolio.

    Position Summary
    The Vice President of MDS is responsible for the overall strategy, execution, and performance of MDS processes, PDPM optimization, and clinical reimbursement integrity. This role partners closely with executive leadership, operations, and clinical teams to drive consistency, education, and best practices across all facilities.

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide executive oversight of MDS, PDPM, and clinical reimbursement operations across multiple facilities
    • Ensure accuracy, compliance, and optimization of reimbursement processes
    • Lead, mentor, and develop regional and facility-level MDS leadership
    • Monitor reimbursement performance, case mix, and quality metrics
    • Partner with operations and clinical leadership to align reimbursement strategy with care delivery
    • Oversee audit readiness, regulatory compliance, and risk mitigation
    • Develop and implement system-wide education, tools, and best practices
    Qualifications
    • Active Illinois RN license
    • Extensive experience in MDS, PDPM, and clinical reimbursement within skilled nursing
    • Multi-site leadership experience strongly preferred
    • Deep knowledge of CMS regulations, documentation standards, and reimbursement audits
    • Proven ability to lead teams, influence outcomes, and drive performance at a regional or corporate level
