Our client is seeking a VP of Program Development to lead program strategy, strengthen service delivery, and drive long term organizational growth. This senior leader will play a key role in shaping programs, developing teams, and expanding community impact.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage all program areas with a focus on long term strategy and innovation
- Develop and evaluate programs using clear metrics and performance standards
- Oversee hiring, training, and development of program staff
- Ensure regulatory compliance and support audit readiness
- Build strong community relationships and stay informed on sector trends
- Lead program budgeting and respond to funding opportunities
- Create and maintain program policies and procedures
- Drive continuous improvement and cross team collaboration
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred
- 10+ years of professional experience, including 5+ years in the social sector
- Senior level leadership experience building programs and driving impact
- Strong project management, communication, and conflict resolution skills
- Proven ability to lead teams, develop talent, and manage change
- Tech savvy and comfortable with Microsoft Office and web based tools
- Collaborative, mission focused, and able to build strong relationships
