Lead the Portfolio

Bench Dogs is seeking a Vice President of Project Management to own end-to-end delivery across our project portfolio—aligning client commitments, production realities, and financial outcomes. This role exists to strengthen execution, standardize what should be standard, and elevate our Project Management team as we grow.

Key responsibilities include:
- Lead and develop Project/Program Managers (including manager-of-managers leadership)
- Drive project controls: scope, schedule, budget, change orders, and margin performance
- Build/improve PM processes, systems, and forecasting cadence across departments
- Partner with Sales, Engineering, and Operations to resolve constraints and reduce risk

Required background and skills:
- 10+ years in project/program management in manufacturing/custom fabrication/construction
- 5+ years in senior PM leadership; experience with $500K–$5M+ projects
- Strong financial acumen; ERP/PM tools proficiency (Epicor preferred)
- Bachelor’s degree preferred; PMP/Lean/Six Sigma a plus

If you’re ready to lead with accountability and drive measurable delivery results, apply today.

How Your Day Flows

You start by scanning portfolio health—what’s trending on schedule, where margins are tightening, and which customer decisions could impact the next production window. Mid-morning is spent in quick touchpoints with PM leaders to unblock issues and align on priorities. You review a handful of project forecasts and change-order narratives, then connect with stakeholders across the floor to validate assumptions against real capacity. Later, you translate what you’re seeing into clear updates for executives and clients, and you close the day by refining a process or dashboard that makes tomorrow’s decisions faster and cleaner.

Core Benefits

Medical, Dental, and Vision coverage; 401(k); Life Insurance; Health Savings Account (HSA); Competitive Salary; Paid Time Off.
