Job DetailsPosition Summary
We are seeking an experienced Vice President of Supply Chain to lead all aspects of our global supply chain strategy and execution. This executive will oversee procurement, strategic sourcing, planning, inventory management, logistics, transportation, warehousing, supplier management, demand planning, Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP), and continuous improvement initiatives.
The ideal candidate is a strategic, hands-on leader who has successfully built and scaled international supply chain organizations within consumer products, nutraceutical, dietary supplement, food, health & wellness, or CPG manufacturing environments.
This leader will drive operational excellence while ensuring product availability, cost optimization, supplier performance, and exceptional customer service across a global business.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the company's global supply chain strategy aligned with business objectives.
- Lead Procurement, Strategic Sourcing, Planning, Inventory, Logistics, Warehousing, Transportation, and Customer Fulfillment.
- Build and manage a high-performing global supply chain organization.
- Develop strategic supplier partnerships while improving quality, cost, delivery, and service.
- Lead Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) and Integrated Business Planning (IBP).
- Optimize inventory levels while improving service and working capital.
- Drive sourcing strategies for raw materials, packaging, contract manufacturers, and finished goods.
- Improve demand forecasting accuracy and production planning processes.
- Develop risk mitigation strategies for global suppliers and transportation networks.
- Establish KPIs and executive dashboards focused on:
o Inventory Turns
o OTIF (On-Time In-Full)
o Forecast Accuracy
o Fill Rate
o Cost Savings
o Supplier Performance
o Customer Service
o Working Capital
- Lead ERP optimization and digital supply chain initiatives.
- Collaborate closely with Manufacturing, Finance, Sales, Marketing, R&D, Regulatory, and Quality.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable regulatory and quality requirements.
- Identify and implement Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement initiatives throughout the supply chain.
- Manage global logistics providers, freight partners, and third-party warehouses.
- Support new product launches and international market expansion.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Business, Engineering, or related field.
- MBA preferred.
- 12+ years of progressive supply chain leadership experience.
- 7+ years leading multi-functional supply chain organizations.
- Experience supporting global operations and international sourcing.
- Background in nutraceuticals, dietary supplements, food & beverage, consumer packaged goods, pharmaceuticals, or health & wellness products strongly preferred.
